🚶 Walk up to a glowing painting to tag its figurative language
Welcome to the gallery 🖼️
Walk through the museum with WASD (or the joystick) and drag to look around.
Walk up to a painting and tag its figurative language. Get it right and the painting comes alive and steps out of its frame! 🎨
🔗
Simile
Compares two things using 'like' or 'as'.
🎭
Metaphor
Says one thing IS another (no 'like'/'as').
💥
Hyperbole
A huge, obvious exaggeration.
🌿
Personification
Gives human actions to non-human things.
'as brave as a lion' → simile (compares using 'as')
'it was raining cats and dogs' → hyperbole (a big exaggeration)
'the wind whispered' → personification (wind can't really whisper)
'her smile is sunshine' → metaphor (says the smile IS sunshine)
1Move with WASD / joystick; drag the view to look around.
2Walk up to a glowing painting — the tag panel opens.
3Tap the right type (or press 1–4): simile, metaphor, hyperbole, personification.
4Correct → the painting animates out of its frame! Tag them all to clear the room. 🎉
